We are happy to welcome Dylan Unverferth as the new PE and Health teacher at Woodmore! Mr. Unverferth recently graduated from Bowling Green State University and is excited to join our team. We’re looking forward to all the great things he will bring to our school, and we know he’ll do an amazing job helping students stay active and learn about healthy habits.
When asked why he wanted to become a PE and Health teacher, Mr. Unverferth said it all started with his love for sports and activities. He’s always been really interested in all kinds of sports and enjoys staying active. Becoming a PE teacher seemed like a great way to share that passion with students and help them learn new skills. He also mentioned that he likes being a leader, and teaching gives him the chance to guide students and be a positive influence in their lives. For him, being a PE and Health teacher is the perfect fit because it combines his love for sports with his desire to help others and be a role model for kids.
Before coming to Woodmore, Mr. Unverferth worked on a concrete crew and later at Aldi during his time in college. These jobs taught him important lessons about working with others and communicating effectively. He learned how to be a good team player and how to get along with different people, which are skills he now uses in the classroom to help students learn and work together.
Mr. Unverferth has been having a great time at Woodmore so far. He really appreciates how friendly and helpful the staff have been, and he’s been impressed by how respectful the students are toward their teachers. He feels lucky to be part of such a positive school environment. Mr. Unverferth is excited to keep building relationships with the students and staff, and he’s really happy to be here as the PE and health teacher.
When asked if he likes teaching PE or Health more, Mr. Unverferth said he enjoys teaching PE the most. He really likes being able to show the students new skills and seeing them get better at those skills over time. He also thinks it’s a lot of fun to play different activities and games with the students in PE class. For him, it’s exciting to help kids stay active and have fun while they learn important physical skills.
We’re super happy to have Mr. Dylan Unverferth join us at Woodmore. He loves sports and is excited to teach our students about staying active and healthy. With his great attitude and experience, we know he’ll do an awesome job. Welcome, Mr. Unverferth!
