In the second half of the game, Lipstraw caught Robert Seeger on a deep pass for a 67 yard touchdown pass. Lipstraw got interviewed about the game and his thoughts on what went down during. The first question I asked him was, how did you feel after the game? His response was “after the game I felt disappointed that we didn’t get the win.” Secondly, he was asked how he thinks that the team will bounce back after the loss at Margaretta? He responded by saying “ we will bounce back from the loss by practicing harder this week, we have to give 100 percent every day at practice.” I asked Lipstraw about how he thinks that the rest of the season will go and his response was, “I have high hopes for the rest of the season, our team still has the potential to be great.”
Along with Lipstraw, I asked Bailey Jendrzejak a few questions about the game and his thoughts on everything. The first question I asked him was how did you feel after the game? His response was, “I felt lost in what happened when the clock struck 0 and the scoreboard said 26 to 7. I was like what in the world happened, I didn’t know what to say.” Secondly, I asked him what Woodmore needs to change on the field to do better in your opinion? “In my opinion, the team just needs to work together more and stop fighting and pointing one another out for what happened on the previous play and we just need to come together and tell each other it’s gonna be ok, we’re alright after something doesn’t go our way.” Lastly, I asked Jendrezejak how he thinks the rest of the season will go, and his response was, “I think the rest of the season will go really well. I see me and the team making the playoffs and maybe a game or two into the playoffs or maybe even three if I’m being honest cause we have the talent for sure we just have to go use it out in the field now.”
Woodmore will be taking on Gibsonburg on Friday at home. Make sure you show up to support the football team. Go wildcats!
