November’s Student of the Month goes to Addison Pleasnick! Addison is a Freshman and plays soccer. She said, “settling into being a freshman was pretty easy and has been fun.” The girls soccer team had a very successful season, and were so close to making it to state.
Addi’s favorite part of her year so far has been soccer because, “It was really fun spending time with my teammates and getting to know them more while playing the sport we love.” Befriending some of the upperclassmen has really helped her, along with, “keeping the mindset that tomorrow is another day and that things can only get better.” Addison is extremely grateful for the support from everyone around her, especially her parents. “My parents always supporting me has definitely helped make the transition easier.”, she commented. Congratulations on your hard work so far here at Woodmore high school and on being given November Student of the Month!
