Thursday, November 16 was a very important day for Senior Emma Hammer. She signed with Findlay and committed to running track. This past spring, Emma went to state with teammates Olivia Vogelpohl, Jordan Beam, Caydie Buchanan, Razyhia Rios, Ariana Florio, and Azure Travis. They took home the state win and all their hard work paid off. Emma is insanely talented and her speed is amazing and entertaining to watch.
Family, teammates, coaches, friends, and teachers came to see Emma sign and the environment was supportive and overjoyed. There were smiles on everyone’s face and her parents couldn’t be more proud. Track Distance Coach Lacy Seamans was right by her side for this life changing moment.
Woodmore alumni Ava Beam attends Findlay as well, running cross country and track. These two track stars will be reuniting and should excel together.
