Woodmore’s October Student of the Month has been presented to the wonderful Kelsey Kaylor! Kelsey is a sophomore and is preparing for her junior and senior year by, “trying to stay involved in activities, keeping my grades up, and studying to make sure I am prepared for my tests.” Kelsey plays soccer and had the season of her life, scoring over 30 goals and heavily contributing to the girls’ playoff run. She also plays basketball and softball, while being involved in FFA as well. Kelsey has had to balance all of this on top of school, but she has got it down, saying, “I balance them with school by using my time wisely to try to eliminate the amount of homework I have, which makes it easier for me when I have games or practices late.” Kelsey was the sophomore girl attendee on Homecoming Court this year, being escorted by sophomore boy attendee Aiden Cordy. When asked if she could go back to any grade in school, Kelsey responded, “If I could go back to any grade in school it would be 8th grade because I had the most fun with my classmates and teachers that year.” Congratulations to Kelsey Kaylor on achieving October Student of the Month!
