Woodmore’s Spirit and Culture has been on the rise in recent years and has had an extremely positive effect. From the student sections during football games to the spirit wear during spirit weeks, the students and staff at Woodmore always seem to show out whenever an event occurs with clever clothing schemes. Pep Rallies are hosted by the Cheerleaders on Fridays a couple of days throughout each month. This truly demonstrates how encouraging, prideful, and energetic the Wildcats are when it comes to supporting our sports teams. The staff here at Woodmore are very encouraging of positive culture and will go out of their way to help and lead by example for the students. The student section that Woodmore has is a great student body that gets loud and proud of the Wildcats during every competition that is held. Whether it is a football game under the lights, an intense basketball game on the court, or a baseball game on the diamond, there is an overwhelming sense of pride for our athletes. Fall, winter, and spring, the Woodmore community always rallies together and cheers on the Wildcats. Even when the going gets tough, the student section stays hopeful. When the football team defeated St. Joe last season, the entire student section rushed the field and did the same in Woodmore’s win over Cardinal Stritch to congratulate the guys earlier this season. Students participate in cheers such as “The Wildcat Rumble ” and can be seen screaming for every touchdown scored, a 3-point shot made, and home run hit. The boost in school spirit over the last few years has been a tremendous help for all the sports teams here at Woodmore. As they say, “Woodmore Once, Wildcat Forever.”
