The New Orleans Saints quarterback is one of the most proficient quarterbacks of all time. After a successful five-year stint with the San Diego Chargers to begin his career, Brees took his talents down to the Bayou. Brees led the New Orleans Saints to multiple playoff appearances and a Super Bowl win. Brees is ranked 4th all-time in career regular season wins (172). Brees has a career record of 172-114 and a playoff record of 9-9. Brees threw for 80,358 yards and 571 touchdowns. Brees also ended his career with a completion percentage of 67.7%. Brees ended his career with a Super Bowl win and a Regular Season MVP.
- Joe Montana
Joe Montana is the best quarterback to play in the 20th century. During his 15-year career, Montana completed many passes. He ended his career with a record of 117- 47 and a playoff record of 16-7. Montana threw for 40,551 yards and 273 touchdowns, and his completion percentage was 63.2%. Montana was perfect in Super Bowl games (4-0). Montana has three Super Bowl MVP Selections (2nd All-time). Montana was also a dominant player in the regular season. Montana won back-to-back MVPs in 1989 and 1990. Montana was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2000.
- Peyton Manning
Peyton Manning, the first overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft out of the University of Tennessee had one of the best NFL careers. He played for both the Colts and Broncos. Manning is a 5x MVP and a 2x Super Bowl Champion. Manning has one of the best resumes out of any NFL player of all time. Manning ended his career with a record of 186-79 and a playoff record of 14-13. Manning may have had a mediocre job in the postseason but still managed to walk away with 2 Super Bowls. Manning’s career ended with a completion percentage of 65.3% and threw for 71,940 yards (Most All-time). Manning also threw for 539 touchdowns. Manning would be #1 if the other two candidates were not as good.
- Tom Brady
After being selected 199th overall in the 6th round. He was drafted by the Patriots in the 2000 NFL Draft, no one could have ever imagined that Brady would put together arguably the best career at the quarterback position. Brady ended his career as a 7x Super Bowl champion (most all-time). Brady dominated the league in his career; 17 division titles, 10 Super Bowl appearances, and 7 Super Bowl wins. Brady is also a 3x MVP and is by far one the best quarterbacks of all time. Brady threw for 89,214 yards and 649 passing touchdowns. Brady led the Patriots to multiple championships and was a beast.
- Patrick Mahomes
After being selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2017 draft, Patrick Mahomes has accomplished so much in his young NFL career. Mahomes is 29 years old and already has won 3 Super Bowls and is on pace to win his 4th on February 9th. Mahomes has a completion percentage of 66.6% and has thrown for 32,352 yards. He also adds 245 touchdown passes on top of his amazing career. Mahomes is the most talented quarterback the NFL has ever seen and will continue to prove this throughout his amazing career.
