At the beginning of each new year, people set goals for themselves to accomplish. This is called a New Year’s Resolution. The most common goals people choose for their resolution are losing weight, saving money, and eating healthy. You don’t necessarily have to select one of the common ones, you can choose anything your heart desires.
The ‘rules’ for a New Year’s resolution are to commit to the goal, be realistic and stick to it. Most people do not stick to their goals and quit because they lack motivation. These goals are to help you obtain a happier and better life.
We have asked some of our students what their New Year resolutions are for 2025.
Macie Grove says, “To Get through the last semester of high school because I am looking forward to graduating.”
Liv Smith said, “To save money for next year when I start college.”
Lastly, Taylor Hill says, “To save money for gas.”
Overall, a New Year’s resolution is a good thing to accomplish each year. You should make one yourself!
