The Woodmore girl’s golf team has had a good season and is excited for the next. Their most recent match was on September 19, 2024. It was a dual match against Lake, they did lose 208-214, but it was a close one. The team has one more match until the tournament begins. I interviewed some female golfers to get their opinions about the season. First is sophomore Jordyn Dunn she said, “The season was enjoyable and it felt nice to be a part of the team, though some matches were exhausting. Our coach is a great person and I like him. I am very excited for what next year has to bring”. I then went to see what senior Hali Ballard had to say. “This last year of golf was the best one by far, I was only at Woodmore for my Junior and Senior year. I’ve made some terrific friends on this team and have so many memories I’ll be leaving with. Overall I’ll miss this team so much and hope they all continue to grow within the team and themselves individually”. Lastly, I talked to sophomore Allison Bankey and she said “I think the season was really good and I did decently throughout the season. I look forward to the next season and hope to improve more next year”. All these girls have had great mindsets about golf and are more confident in themselves. They have had a good season and we hope they all excel next year!
Congratulations to the girl’s golf team!
