March Senior of the Month has been awarded to Caydie Buchanan. Caydie was a 4 sport athlete being the captain of the soccer and wrestling teams, as well runs track and cross country. Caydie will be attending the University of Tiffin to study psychology and sports medicine while playing for the women’s soccer team. Her biggest influence has been her older sister Courteney. “ I’ve always wanted to be like her and she did a lot in high school and I was always envious of that, so when I actually got here I just tried to make the most of it like she did.” She is going to miss a lot from high school but the thing she will miss the most is “Running is gonna be something I miss a lot too because I love our coaches so much and I chose to play soccer instead of run so this is my last track season ever and I’m sad that I’m just gonna be done with something I’ve put so much time into.” Congratulations to Caydie for winning Senior of the Month!
